The judges for this bout are John Kavanagh, Franklyn Lucas and Alyssa Summers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Opalka shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Happens sprawls well. Happens wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Opalka gets slowly back to his feet.
Happens was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Opalka misses with a takedown
and Happens counters with a one-two to the body.
Happens defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Opalka.
Chance Happens has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Marcin Opalka.
Happens darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Opalka closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Happens pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Opalka checks a leg kick.

Opalka shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Happens as he avoids it easily.
Happens is looking to counter punch.
Opalka shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Happens but Happens pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Happens misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Opalka shoots for a double leg takedown but Happens sprawls well. He's pushed Opalka's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Happens shoots in and drives through. Opalka sprawls well.
Happens throws a series of punches but Opalka avoids them all with ease.
No joy there for Opalka, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Opalka is looking to clinch.
A little feinted left hand from Happens on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
A punch lands to the side of Opalka 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Opalka closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Happens has Opalka pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Opalka manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
Happens creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses.
Happens gets underhooks to prevent Opalka's takedown attempt.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Happens breaks from the clinch.
Opalka tries to score a power double leg takedown but Happens sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Opalka somewhat.
Opalka doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Happens counters with a straight right hand.
Opalka wants to clinch
and Happens counters with a left and a right that stings Opalka.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Happens keeps the fight on the outside.
Happens throws a big counter combination but Opalka scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.
Opalka moves into the clinch successfully.
Opalka wants a takedown but no success here.
Opalka wants to take the fight to the mat but Happens manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.

Happens manages to break the clinch.
Happens with a body punch. A glancing blow.
Happens looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Opalka is fending him off so far but Happens persists. Nope, Opalka circles away and we're back to standing.
Opalka blocks a low kick nicely.
Happens closes the distance and clinches.
Opalka is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Happens manages to break the clinch.

and Happens moves into the clinch.
Opalka tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Happens pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Opalka fails with the takedown.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Happens swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Opalka.
The crowd cheers as Happens lands an impressive looking overhand right. Opalka doesn't seem phased though.
Opalka fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Happens avoids it really well and circles away.
Happens misses with a two punch combination.
Opalka feints the counter takedown.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Opalka tries to clinch up
and Happens counters with a lovely straight right hand!
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Chance Happens dominated that round.
That's time! Back to the action!
Happens swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Opalka tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Happens defends well and Opalka ends up having to push Happens into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Happens tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Opalka swivels and escapes.
Opalka is looking for the big counter here.
The fight stays on the outside here - Opalka looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Opalka moves in looking to clinch but Happens pushes him off.
Happens is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Opalka can do to turn this around?
