Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Winston Alpacca, David Hoff and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Perez lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Perez lands with a straight right. Tillet didn't see that one coming.
Tillet darts in looking for a takedown but Perez gets double underhooks and turns Tillet into the cage.
Tillet blocks an elbow strike from Perez.
Perez manages to break the clinch.
Perez throws a lazy head kick
and Tillet counters with a shoot takedown. Perez fights it but they end up in guard.
Tillet slips nicely into half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Tillet slips a nice elbow through Perez's hands, connecting with Perez's forehead.
Tillet wants to pass to mount but Perez is defending the position.
Tillet lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
Well, if Tillet is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
