Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Junior Dillon (ranked 24921 p4p, 4467 weight class) and Sur Resh (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Junior Dillon could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Sur Resh's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 4 - 1, fighting out of London, Junior Dillon! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Sur Resh! The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, William Gold and Colin Fotheringham.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nice defenses there by Resh. Resh lands a head kick!
It looks like Junior Dillon has been cut. Dillon with a poor takedown and Resh counters by clinching up. Dillon tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Resh smiles and moves away.
Resh manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Dillon on his heels. He'll look to pass Dillon's guard now, I'm sure. Dillon working for a triangle but Resh defends it easily.
Resh slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Resh working the ground and pound but he's contacting the mat, not the fighter.
That's one minute gone in the round. The strikes coming from Resh are missing the target in this wave of attacks. Resh trying to control the action but Dillon is working from the bottom. Dillon is looking to regain half guard here but Resh keeps moving and retains side control. Dillon manages to get back to half guard. Resh trying to control the action but Dillon is working from the bottom. Dillon's coaches at Cozad MMA London have been working on his defensive grappling in preparation for this fight so let's see if he can get out of this tricky position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Dillon is looking for a sweep. Resh is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Dillon looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Resh is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Dillon doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Resh. Resh not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Dillon is looking to control Resh's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Dillon avoid being mounted? Resh is looking to take a break and control but Dillon is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Resh throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Dillon keeping hold of Resh's head, controlling as best he can.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. Dillon fails with a takedown attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Junior Dillon. That's going to take a lot out of him. Dillon throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Resh. Resh clinches. Dillon is trying to drag Resh to the mat but Resh just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. Dillon is trying to break the clinch but Resh is controlling him.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Resh escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Resh has closed the distance and engaged Dillon in a clinch.
Resh gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Dillon.
Dillon being controlled against the cage. Resh gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground. Resh is looking to stand up but Dillon won't let him. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Dillon has an active guard here but Resh has managed to pass into half guard.
Resh decides to stand up. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Sur Resh dominated that round. The cut man is working on Junior Dillon's cut. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! Resh throws a front kick that sends Dillon stumbling back into the cage. Resh gets the takedown into side control. Dillon sneaks out the side door and pushes Resh away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape. Dillon misses with a takedown attempt - Resh sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Resh looks like he wanted to counter with a high kick but didn't throw it. Dillon takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Resh darts in and clinches Dillon up against the cage. Resh turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Resh manages to end up in side control. Resh wants to control but Dillon is keeping him busy. Dillon is looking to reverse the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Resh moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now. Resh is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Dillon has escaped the position, nice work there. You can see the frustration on Dillon's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Dillon being controlled for a moment.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Resh is trying to get an arm triangle but Dillon is defending well. Sur Resh has got the better of the ground game so far. A bit of a lull in the action here.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Resh scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Dillon makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Dillon.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Resh working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Dillon controls Resh momentarily but Resh frees himself. Dillon being controlled here, momentarily. Resh has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Dillon controlling the position. Resh must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Resh wants to stand but Dillon has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Resh trying to control the position from guard on top but Dillon is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Resh drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Resh tries to free his leg and advance position but Dillon is retaining full guard. Resh content to stall in guard here. Resh postures up.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Dillon looking for a sweep. Not yet Dillon, not yet. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Sur Resh showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Junior Dillon's cut. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. And we move into the final round!
Resh drives through and clinches with Dillon against the cage.
Dillon jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Resh walks away with a smile on his face. Dillon gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Resh shoots in and bounces Dillon off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Dillon wants to sweep but no luck. Resh content to stall in guard here. Dillon is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Dillon trying to punch from his back but it's not doing any damage.
That's one minute gone in the round. Resh trying to control but Dillon is working from the bottom. Dillon utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Dillon keeping moving, preventing Resh from controlling successfully.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Resh forces Dillon back against the cage and clinches. Dillon is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Resh is defending well. Resh jumps guard.
Resh looking to hit a scissor sweep but Dillon is one step ahead there. Dillon trying to control but Resh is working from the bottom.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Dillon has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Resh is proving hard to escape from. Resh lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard. Dillon is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Resh trying to control but Dillon is working from the bottom. Dillon is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Resh defends well. Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Dillon is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Resh pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Dillon is keeping the position for now. Resh decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Dillon, up you get! Resh fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Dillon to the ground. Resh is now in Dillon's guard. Dillon has scooted to the edge of the canvas and used the cage to get back to his feet. Resh has stuck on his opponent and is forcing him back against the cage.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Resh is pressed up against the cage. Dillon has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Resh down to the mat. Resh avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Junior Dillon. That's going to take a lot out of him. No luck for Dillon with that takedown attempt. Resh closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Dillon did well to prevent Resh getting side control. Resh is looking to take a break and control but Dillon is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Resh trying to control the pace. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Resh passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Dillon!
And that's the end of the fight! Sur Resh comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Resh has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
