Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Chuck Norris!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Mirko Cro Cop!
The judges for this bout are Tatsuya Matsuyama, Shigeki Sano and Yuuki Gou.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Cro Cop moves into the clinch.
Cro Cop tries for a takedown. No joy.

Cro Cop ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Cro Cop no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Norris has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Cro Cop is proving hard to escape from.
Norris won't allow Cro Cop to sweep him here.
Cro Cop is still trying to improve position.
Cro Cop is pulling down on Norris's head to control his posture.
Norris wanted to stand there but Cro Cop had control of the position.
Norris has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Norris trying to control the position from guard on top but Cro Cop is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Cro Cop seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.

Cro Cop had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Norris defends it easily.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Cro Cop can do anything to dispel that myth.
Cro Cop manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Norris manages to get himself to full guard.

Cro Cop missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
Cro Cop slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Cro Cop prevents Norris from getting back to his feet.

Cro Cop decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Norris, up you get!
Cro Cop slips a jab and a cross from Norris.
Cro Cop should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

Cro Cop looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Cro Cop lands with a punch from half guard.

Cro Cop looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Norris pushes Cro Cop off looking to stand but Cro Cop dives back in and keeps control.
Cro Cop works his way into side control.
Cro Cop working away.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Norris is not in a great position here, taking some shots.

Cro Cop looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
Cro Cop has knee on belly and moves into mount.
Cro Cop controlling from mount.
Cro Cop connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Cro Cop putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound!
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Mirko Cro Cop dominated that round.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Cro Cop throws a head kick that misses.
Cro Cop looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Norris is fending him off so far but Cro Cop persists. Nope, Norris circles away and we're back to standing.
Norris tries to bum rush Cro Cop with a series of wild strikes but Cro Cop uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Norris displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination.

It looks like Mirko Cro Cop has been cut.
Norris scores to the head and body with a nice combination!
Norris throws a wild combination but nothing lands.

Cro Cop instigates a clinch.

Cro Cop breaks the clinch.
Norris throws an overhand right from the outside, which connects and sends Cro Cop stumbling backwards into the cage! Cro Cop bounces back off the cage towards Norris, who cracks him with a two punch combination that drops him to his knees! Norris lands two more shots before the referee has chance to intervene - what a finish! Norris celebrates with his corner as the crowd cheer loudly.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:38 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Chuck Norris!
