Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Darren Rage! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 3 - 1, fighting out of London, Robbie Gallagher! The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, Steven Brown and Richard Clark.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rage fails to land the takedown. Gallagher throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Rage throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Rage throws a head kick but Gallagher moves out of range.
Rage connects with a high kick.
It looks like Robbie Gallagher has been cut. Rage ducks under a wild hook from Gallagher. Rage fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Excellent takedown into side control there by Gallagher. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Rage is pushing Gallagher's head away, looking to escape. Gallagher manages to hold on to the position though. Gallagher decides to stand back up. Gallagher throws a head kick but Rage moves out of range.
Rage tries to close the distance and clinch but Gallagher swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Rage closes the distance and pushes Gallagher back into the cage.
That's one minute gone in the round. Gallagher gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground. Gallagher stands up and waves to Rage to follow him. Rage tries for a takedown but Gallagher circles away easily and Gallagher counters with a nice double leg into guard. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Darren Rage. That's going to take a lot out of him. Rage is breathing heavily. Rage working for a triangle but Gallagher defends it easily.
Rage utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Rage is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Gallagher dives into side control.

Rage's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up. Rage is looking to get to half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Gallagher lands a big shot there that rocks Rage but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Gallagher landing strikes, looking to finish! Gallagher has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Rage bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done! Rage decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. Rage fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Gallagher, pushing him back against the cage.

Gallagher drops down looking for an ankle pick but Rage pulls his leg out and moves away.
Nice takedown defense from Rage. No joy for Gallagher on that attempt. Rage tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Rage cracks the inside of Gallagher's front leg. Rage misses with a takedown and Gallagher counters with a single leg into guard. Rage didn't expect that. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Gallagher gets to his feet - Rage follows without any prompting. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Rage tries for a takedown but Gallagher circles away easily and Gallagher counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Rage throws a sloppy head kick and Gallagher moves out of range easily. Gallagher pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Rage shoots in but Gallagher avoids the takedown attempt easily. Rage closes the distance but Gallagher moves to the side and Gallagher counters with a nice double leg into guard. Gallagher gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. Rage is looking to clinch. Rage with a poor takedown and Gallagher counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Rage! We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Gallagher working the ground and pound effectively.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Rage tries to lock up and control but Gallagher gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Rage is in a bad position, trying to hold on for dear life but he is really struggling to maintain any sort of control.
That's one minute gone in the round. Gallagher in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.
Rage is trying to escape but when you're mounted that's not too easy.

Gallagher should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Gallagher prevents Rage from getting the reversal. Gallagher working Rage over with strikes here. Robbie Gallagher has got the better of the ground game so far. Rage wants to control but Gallagher is having none of it. Rage taking shots to the head. Rage is in a horrible position here. Gallagher smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.

That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Gallagher lands a heavy elbow. Rage is really trying hard to get back to his feet.

Rage bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done! Rage stands and steps away. Gallagher gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. Gallagher fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Rage stuffs the takedown attempt from Gallagher. Gallagher gets slowly back to his feet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Gallagher cracks Rage with a right hand to the side of the head. Rage throws a body punch but Gallagher moves out of range. Gallagher showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Rage.

Gallagher tries to move into range but Rage moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Gallagher changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Rage tries to avoid it but Gallagher manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Rage to the ground. Rage escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Gallagher shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Gallagher prevents Rage from standing back up.
Gallagher gets to his feet - back to striking we go! Gallagher takes a kick to the side of the head. Gallagher circles away from the clinch attempt.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. An inside leg kick lands from Rage. Rage closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Rage lands in his opponent's guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Robbie Gallagher showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Robbie Gallagher's cut. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

He's got his arms around Rage's waist but Rage gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Gallagher off to one side. Rage fails with the takedown. Rage tries for a takedown but Gallagher circles away easily and Gallagher counters with a head kick. A head kick misses from Gallagher. Rage doesn't succeed with the takedown and Gallagher counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Darren Rage. That's going to take a lot out of him. Rage throws a series of punches but Gallagher moves out of range. Rage fails to land the takedown. Gallagher misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Gallagher throws an elbow but Rage slips to the side and avoids it well. Rage bucks up and manages to escape back to his feet! Rage fails with the takedown and Gallagher counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Rage lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Rage tries to clinch but Gallagher is having none of it. Rage tries to clinch and Gallagher counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Rage scores to the head and body with a nice combination! Gallagher blocks a head kick by Rage.
Good shot there by Rage. Gallagher swats away the attempt to clinch by Rage. Gallagher shoots in looking for a takedown. Rage tries to sprawl out of it but Gallagher keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Rage manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Rage fails with a takedown attempt.
And that's the end of the fight! Robbie Gallagher comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Gallagher winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
