And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Qfc Tournament!
The judges for this bout are Chad Campbell, John Kavanagh and Franklyn Lucas.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Harris keeps the fight on the outside.
Tournament checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
Tournament wants to clinch.

Tournament forces Harris back against the cage and clinches.
Harris blocks an elbow strike.
Harris avoids the elbow strike from Tournament, against the cage.
With the two fighters working up against the cage, Tournament just misses with a elbow thrown towards Harris's brow.
Tournament looks to throw an elbow but misses.
Tournament throws an elbow that misses.
Harris blocks an elbow strike.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Tournament pushes off an throws an elbow but Harris leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage.
Tournament lands a nice elbow.
Harris is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Tournament is defending well for now.

Harris successfully pulls guard.
Tournament is looking to stand up but Harris won't let him.
Harris looking to hit a scissor sweep but Tournament is one step ahead there.

Tournament would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
Harris is trying to control the position but Tournament postures up.

Tournament avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Harris manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Tournament manages to get himself to full guard.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Tournament can do anything to dispel that myth.
Harris is pushing down on Tournament's leg trying to pass to half guard. Tournament is fighting to maintain full guard but Harris has managed to sneak the leg through.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Harris connects with a nice short shot to Tournament's temple.
Tournament is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Harris scores with a couple of nice shots.
Harris looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Tournament with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Harris seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.

Harris lands a big elbow - Tournament is out of it! He's waving his arms around but his eyes are closed and he's not intelligently defending himself - the ref has no choice but to jump in and stop the fight! This one is in the books! A TKO win for Harris!
