Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Aizen Kuzo (ranked 6269 p4p, 6096 weight class) and Anderson Nandera (ranked 570 p4p, 555 weight class). Anderson Nandera looks lathargic as he enters the arena. Wake up son, you're about to have a fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Aizen Kuzo! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Anderson Nandera! The judges for this bout are Chris Saunders, Micheangelo Fripello and Paul Gruel.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A momentary lapse in concentration from Nandera enables Kuzo to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Nandera manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Nandera scrambles and gets back to his feet.
Nandera misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Horrible takedown attempt by Nandera or perhaps it was just good defense by Kuzo, which made it look bad. Kuzo closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Nandera's guard. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Kuzo is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Kuzo has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. Kuzo's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. Nandera wants to stand but Kuzo is controlling the position. Kuzo content to stall in guard here.
That's one minute gone in the round. The referee is pacing around the two fighters, thinking about a standup. Kuzo prevents Nandera from getting back to his feet.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. Kuzo scores with a takedown into Nandera's guard. Kuzo seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Kuzo looking to pass the guard. Nandera looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Kuzo controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Nandera wants to stand but Kuzo is controlling the position. Kuzo showing good wrestling skills to control the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. Further stalling from Kuzo.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Kuzo leaves Nandera with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Kuzo looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Nandera! Kuzo knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Nandera on the ground. Nandera is letting Kuzo control him for a moment. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Both fighters have adopted an aggressive gameplan on the ground!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kuzo seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Nandera for as long as he can get away with. This is a sustained period of stalling by Kuzo. Kuzo continues to hold on tight. Kuzo continues to stall. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Nandera is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Nandera is letting Kuzo control him for a moment. If it seems like I'm not saying a lot, it's just because Kuzo is stinking the place up with his stalling. More hug and hope from Kuzo. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Nandera is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Kuzo drives through with a takedown into guard. Kuzo controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Aizen Kuzo dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. Kuzo blocks a head kick by Nandera.
Nandera lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Kuzo circles away quickly and effectively. Kuzo shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Kuzo in particular looking to stall. Nandera looks like he's trying to stand up.

Nandera is looking to escape. Kuzo controlling the action here. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Kuzo takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. Nandera is trying to stand up here but Kuzo is controlling him well.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Anderson Nandera is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Nandera drives through and clinches with Kuzo against the cage.
Kuzo turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Kuzo manages to end up in side control. Kuzo is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Nandera's shoulder. That is not cool.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Nandera pushes Kuzo away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Kuzo gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control. Kuzo controls the position. Nandera is trying to get back to his feet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Nandera is breathing heavily. Kuzo remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Nandera is trying to escape and get back to his feet.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Kuzo looking to score a takedown here. Nandera is defending well but Kuzo drives through and ends up in Nandera's guard. Kuzo slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Nandera is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Kuzo is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Aizen Kuzo overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Nandera is trying to keep an underhook but Kuzo manages to get the takedown into half guard. Nandera takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Nandera is trying to stand back up but Kuzo is controlling him

That's three minutes gone in the round. Nandera wants to get back to his feet. Kuzo with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Anderson Nandera has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Kuzo shoots in and bounces Nandera off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Kuzo has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Kuzo prevents Nandera from getting back to his feet. Kuzo is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Nandera has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Kuzo can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
And that's the end of the fight! Aizen Kuzo showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Kuzo, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
