Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between F00K DaOpps (ranked 5666 p4p, 6102 weight class) and Jimmy Eigenhuis (ranked 637 p4p, 668 weight class). Jimmy Eigenhuis struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 186.6lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. Let's see how much it's taken out of him. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
DaOpps rushes Eigenhuis and presses him up against the cage.
DaOpps is trying to pull guard but Eigenhuis turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.
Eigenhuis jumps guard but DaOpps stands there with Eigenhuis around his waist. Eigenhuis gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
DaOpps tries to pull guard but Eigenhuis won't allow it.
Eigenhuis is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
DaOpps tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for F00K DaOpps. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Eigenhuis has a couple of punches blocked by DaOpps.
Eigenhuis lands a nice knee to the body.

DaOpps works a leg free and moves into half guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
