Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Baba Jay (ranked 6354 p4p, 6341 weight class) and Jimmy Shimmy (ranked 649 p4p, 648 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jimmy Shimmy!
The judges for this bout are Colin Fray, Josh West and Jeff Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No joy there for Jay, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Shimmy drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Jay defends it well.
Jay connects with a body shot.
Shimmy darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Shimmy is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.
Shimmy seems to be working for a kimura but Jay defends the submission attempt.
Shimmy is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Nice strikes from Shimmy there.
Shimmy is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Jay defends it well.
Shimmy misses with a head shot. Jay uses the momentum to regain guard.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Shimmy postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Jay is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Shimmy, into his guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Shimmy wants to sweep here but Jay controlling him for the moment.

Shimmy is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Jay rolls with it to try and escape but Shimmy cranks on the arm and Jay is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
