Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Jobber Joe!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Ambros Taube!
The judges for this bout are Santiago Holmes, Daniel Franklin and Bart Greer.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Joe misses with a wild body shot.
Taube swings for the body but Joe moves out of range.
Joe appears to be looking for a counter punch to the body.
Nice jab there from Joe.
Ambros Taube seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Taube lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Joe circles away quickly and effectively.
Joe dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Taube moves out of range as Joe strikes.
Joe looks to land a left hand but Taube moved out of range nicely.
Taube lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.
Joe lands a jab to Taube's midsection.
Joe has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Cozad The Island in the buildup to the fight.
Joe swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Joe misses with an uppercut.
Taube throws a counter combo.
Taube tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Joe defends well and Taube ends up having to push Joe into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Joe throws a jab when Taube was well out of range.
Joe dodges the punch combination from Taube.
Taube rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Joe moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Joe lands an overhand right.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Taube is looking to clinch.
Joe went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.
Taube fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Joe manages to avoid it.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Joe is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Taube.
Joe listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.
Taube is rocked!
Taube misses with a jab to the body
and Joe counters with a powerful cross that connects right on the chin and the lights go out! A massive one punch knock out!
