Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, Chris Edwards and Andrew Berry.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wesley throws a solid leg kick but shepper takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Wesley.
shepper shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Wesley's guard.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Wesley can do anything to dispel that myth.
shepper postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Wesley trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from!
shepper wants to stand but Wesley has a closed guard, so he can't escape.

Wesley really doesn't want to stay on the ground with shepper. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
shepper trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Wesley stuffs the takedown.
shepper tries to clinch up.
That's one minute gone in the round.
shepper looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Wesley is fending him off so far but shepper persists. Nope, Wesley circles away and we're back to standing.
Wesley lands a brutal head kick. shepper looks out on his feet and Wesley throws more strikes until the ref is forced to stop the fight!
