Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tommy Chong (ranked 4011 p4p, 7173 weight class) and Bruno Salvacion (ranked 396 p4p, 0 weight class). Bruno Salvacion is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The judges for this bout are Jonathan Paton, Dean Styles and David Schapiro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Salvacion stuffs the takedown.
Salvacion changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Chong looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Salvacion remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Bruno Salvacion showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare each other down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!
Chong has taken the fight to the clinch.
Salvacion is trying to trip Chong. He has hold of a leg but Chong is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Salvacion persists though and gets the takedown into guard.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Chong is not content to let Salvacion control the position.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up.
Chong fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Salvacion, pushing him back against the cage.
Bruno Salvacion is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
Salvacion is fighting off a takedown attempt but Chong is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Salvacion to the mat. Salvacion regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.
Chong is in close to Salvacion's body, working some short punches and elbows.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Tommy Chong.
I think Salvacion has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
