The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Some wild striking there from Wayne.
Bruce Wayne seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Kruger shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Wayne is trying to defend but Kruger finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

Wayne tries to kick Kruger off in order to stand up. Kruger Avoids the leg push though and dives into side control.

Kruger is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Wayne has escaped the position, nice work there.

Kruger appears to be looking for a big counter.
Wayne displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Kruger .
Wayne digs a good body shot into Kruger 's ribs.
Kruger fails with a takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Brendan Kruger . That's going to take a lot out of him.
Sloppy strikes from Wayne. Those never looked like landing.
Kruger shoots in looking for a takedown but Wayne manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Kruger 's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Wayne wants to stand but Kruger is controlling the position.

Kruger is really struggling to control Wayne but he's trying to hold on to the position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

That was a close round but I would say that Brendan Kruger will probably get the nod.

Wayne throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Kruger on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.

Kruger is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Wayne's half guard.
Wayne really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Kruger . If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Kruger lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.

Kruger lands a big elbow - Wayne is out of it! He's waving his arms around but his eyes are closed and he's not intelligently defending himself - the ref has no choice but to jump in and stop the fight! This one is in the books! A TKO win for Kruger !

Brendan Kruger spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
