Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Terrible Knight (ranked 4497 p4p, 4435 weight class) and Aidan Walsh (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Walsh is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Animals. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Terrible Knight! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Aidan Walsh! The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, Richard Clark and James Ackerman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Walsh moves in looking to clinch but Knight pushes him off. Knight missing with a left hand there. Walsh was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Walsh throws a fast counter high kick but Knight manages to duck under it in time. Walsh misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Knight throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Walsh was covering up waiting for the punch and Knight finishes the takedown easily into guard. Knight content to stall in guard here. Knight wants to pass the guard but Walsh is keeping the position. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Knight is stalling in the full guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Knight got a little sloppy there for a moment and Walsh has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Knight has managed to get both his arms back between Walsh's legs - danger averted. Knight is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Walsh is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Walsh has escaped and now he's on top! Walsh preventing the sweep. Walsh trying to control but Knight is working from the bottom. Walsh loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Walsh throws a big right hand that misses. Walsh is looking to work some ground and pound but Knight has wrist control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Knight has his hands on Walsh's head, controlling the position. Walsh would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Knight working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Walsh. Knight is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. Knight keeping moving, preventing Walsh from controlling successfully.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. A jab from Knight misses. Knight takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Sloppy strikes from Walsh. Those never looked like landing.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Walsh dodges the punch combination from Knight.
Walsh wants to counter the offense by Knight and move into the clinch position. Walsh fails with an attempt to clinch.
Knight stuffs the takedown. Walsh doesn't manage to clinch there - Knight circles away.
Walsh shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Knight but Knight pushes him off and we're back to square one. Walsh looks winded! Walsh throws the kick towards the body but Knight avoids it. Knight lands a glancing blow to the side of Walsh's head. Knight lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. Knight avoids the head kick by Walsh.
The fighters are starting to get sweaty, which will make takedowns a bit more tricky. Knight shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Walsh's guard. Knight showing good wrestling skills to control the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Knight has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. Knight scores with a decent looking elbow strike. Knight content to stall in guard here. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Terrible Knight dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare each other down, ready to get back to the action. Walsh moves out of range of the strikes. Walsh shoots in but Knight avoids the takedown attempt easily. Knight scores with a nice right hand.
Walsh is trying hard to land a takedown here. Knight sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Walsh throws a leg kick that misses. Knight avoids a kick to the body.
Knight appears to be looking for a counter takedown. Walsh moves forwards but Knight connects with a nice, crisp jab. Knight misses the jab. Walsh drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Knight defends it well. Walsh gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Knight to score an easy takedown into full guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Knight working some strikes from top position. Knight controls from within his opponent's guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Knight scoring with some ground and pound. Terrible Knight overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Walsh being controlled here, momentarily. Walsh not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Walsh is breathing heavily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Knight controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Walsh misses with a low kick. Knight darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Knight looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. Walsh is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Knight with a momentary lay and pray from half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Walsh wants to control but Knight passes into side.
Walsh is trying to escape the position but Knight is controlling the position. Knight lands a decent elbow from side control. Knight is staying tight to Walsh's torso, preventing him from escaping.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Walsh is trying to improve his position. Walsh trying to remain calm as Knight controls from the top position. Walsh tries to buck Knight off but Knight is having none of it. Knight controls the position. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.

Knight closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Knight lands in his opponent's guard. Walsh being controlled here, momentarily. This is a sustained period of stalling by Knight. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. Knight works his way into side control. Knight controls the position. Walsh takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Walsh throws a couple of punches but he's in a bad position and they don't land. Knight working the head with strikes. Walsh is trying to get back to half guard. Walsh takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Walsh is trying to escape the position but Knight is controlling the position.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Walsh takes a shot right to the bread basket. Knight throws a hook but Walsh avoids it easily.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Walsh fails in his attempt to clinch. Knight fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Walsh on the side of the head. Knight gets the takedown into side control. Walsh can't do much from the bottom here. Walsh is letting Knight control him for a moment. Knight cracks Walsh with a big right hand but Walsh just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
Aidan Walsh has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Terrible Knight is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! A lull in the action here as Knight stalls from top position.
And that's the end of the fight! Terrible Knight showed his dominance in that final round. Well Knight has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
