Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bob Loomis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Paddy Doherty (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Loomis comes to the cage accompanied by Strapping Young Lad - Anti Product. Paddy Doherty will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Loomis has a takedown stuffed. Doherty wants to clinch up but Loomis keeps it at a distance. Doherty is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Doherty shoots and misses and Loomis counters with a takedown into side control. Loomis working the ground and pound. Doherty manages to get back to half guard. Loomis prevents Doherty from standing back up.

Loomis changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Doherty looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Doherty is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Loomis off and has taken his back! Doherty punches the canvas rather than the man. Doherty tries to keep control of the position but Loomis is staying busy. Doherty thows a huge left but connects with the canvas and not his opponent. Loomis knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Doherty on the ground. Loomis is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Doherty gets his way!
