Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Eddie Bravo (ranked 2781 p4p, 3856 weight class) and Quinan Jones (ranked 330 p4p, 424 weight class). Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Eddie Bravo!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Quinan Jones!
The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Gregory Folan and Dillan Fox.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No luck with that takedown attempt from Bravo.

Jones tries to get to full guard but Bravo has control of the leg.

Bravo is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Jones tries to roll over but Bravo keeps him under control.

Bravo wants to take his opponent's back but Jones doesn't allow it.
Jones tries to hold on but Bravo pushes him away.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Jones can do anything to dispel that myth.
Bravo tries to control but Jones wriggling away.
Bravo raining down hammerfists from mount.
Jones is looking to get to half guard.

Bravo looking to secure an arm triangle but Jones defends it well.
Bravo pushing the pace here, looking to move to his opponents back and work for a finish.
Bravo sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it!

Bravo is looking for a kimura but Jones is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Bravo to get the leverage.

Bravo seems to be looking for submissions.

Bravo is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Jones is defending against the submission attempts here by Bravo.

Bravo looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

That was a close round but I would say that Eddie Bravo will probably get the nod.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Jones throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Jones stuns Bravo with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Quinan Jones seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Jones takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.

Jones scores with a leg kick.

Jones throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Jones lands a nice looking body shot.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Bravo is rocked!
Jones throws a leg kick but Bravo checks it.
Bravo changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit.
Oh Bravo is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Jones tries to bum rush Bravo with a series of wild strikes but Bravo uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Bravo appears to be looking for a counter takedown.
Jones drops Bravo with a straight right hand, right on the button! Jones follows him down to the mat and pounds him out with hammerfists until the referee jumps in to end the fight!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:58 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Quinan Jones!
Quinan Jones decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
