Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Blue Knight (ranked 4501 p4p, 6144 weight class) and Max Kerr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Blue Knight! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Max Kerr! The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, Paul Tew and Sam Margolis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kerr drops his hands momentarily and Knight takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head. Kerr moves away from the strike by Knight. A thudding body kick lands there by Kerr!
Knight fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Kerr manages to avoid it. Despite the aggression on Kerr's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter. Knight misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Kerr.

It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while. Knight's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. That's four minutes gone in the round. Knight in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows. Knight lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Kerr down.

Knight remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while. And that is the end of the round. Blue Knight dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! Kerr takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Knight tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Kerr was well out of range. Poor timing from Knight. Knight manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Kerr on his heels. Knight takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. Well, if Knight is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Knight moves into full mount! Kerr won't be happy about that! Knight controlling from the full mount. Blue Knight dominated that second round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round! Kerr uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Knight. Knight dodges the punch combination from Kerr.
Knight closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Kerr to the mat! Kerr manages to get full guard. Knight cracks Kerr with a solid left hand. Knight not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Knight working some strikes from top position. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Kerr is rocked! Knight lands a couple of elbows. Kerr is still in real trouble! Can Knight finish him? Kerr takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Knight is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Knight passes into half guard. Knight is taking a breather. Kerr says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. Knight scores with a big shot! Kerr's head bounced off the canvas with a huge thud! More strikes land and the referee has jumped in to save Kerr! He was hurt real bad - good stoppage!
