Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between John Lawrence (ranked 1716 p4p, 2262 weight class) and William Ralph Dean (ranked 54 p4p, 80 weight class). Lawrence comes into the arena with No Surrender blaring out of the sound system. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Percy O'Donnell, Jack Bonds and Don Winkell.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dean steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Lawrence.
Lawrence stalks Dean and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Dean's face. Dean staggers backwards, shaken.
Lawrence misses the jab.
Lawrence misses with a straight left.
Dean wants to counter the offense by Lawrence and move into the clinch position.
We've been hearing reports that Lawrence has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
Dean's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Lawrence connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Dean scrambles back to his feet.
Dean misses with a looping left.
Dean ducks under a wild hook from Lawrence.
John Lawrence seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Dean misses with a low kick.

Lawrence lands with a nice body punch.

Lawrence is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Dean's half guard.

Dean is trying to stand back up but Lawrence is controlling him
Lawrence seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.

Lawrence is nestled in close to Dean, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Lawrence looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Dean with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Dean is pushing off trying to get to his feet. Lawrence has hold of the leg though and he's dropped back for a heel hook… has he got it?? YES! Dean is tapping! This fight is all over!
