Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Amaru Shakur (ranked 3293 p4p, 5330 weight class) and Mario Santos (ranked 306 p4p, 427 weight class). Mario Santos will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.

The judges for this bout are John Kavanagh, Jorge Garcia and Alyssa Summers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Santos lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
It looks like Amaru Shakur has been cut.
A lazy left from Santos finds it's target.
Shakur lands a jab to the head.
Shakur misses with an uppercut
and Santos counters with a series of strikes. Shakur will be more careful next time no doubt.
Santos wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Santos tries to bum rush Shakur with a series of wild strikes but Shakur uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
An attempted straight right counter from Shakur misses the target.
Shakur rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Santos counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Santos lands a nice hook to Shakur's body. Shakur takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Santos punishes Shakur's body with a nice straight punch.
Santos throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Shakur stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Santos is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Shakur rather than just go for the knockout.
Santos drops Shakur with a straight left! Oh this is bad for Shakur! Santos dives in and starts dropping bombs - the referee has no choice but to step in and save him!
