Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Lynch Lupus (ranked 2914 p4p, 4906 weight class) and Yusuke Takahama (ranked 0 p4p, 398 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Yusuke Takahama!
The judges for this bout are Tatsuya Matsuyama, Sosuke Kotani and Yukihiro Yamamoto.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lupus throws a body shot but no joy.
Lupus tries to clinch up.
Takahama throws a counter combo.
Sloppy strikes from Lupus. Those never looked like landing.
Takahama shoots for a double leg takedown but Lupus sprawls well. He's pushed Takahama's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Lupus shoots in looking for a takedown but Takahama manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Lupus's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

A telegraphed takedown attempt from Lupus is defended easily by Takahama.
Takahama throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Lupus's waist but Lupus gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Takahama off to one side.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Yusuke Takahama seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Despite the aggression on Takahama's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.
Takahama thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Lupus if he has to take too many more of those.

Lupus closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Takahama's guard.

Lupus closes the distance and clinches up with Takahama, looking for a takedown. Lupus pushes Takahama against the cage but Takahama circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Yusuke Takahama comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Takahama has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
