PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Kim Tae Won Lumihi (ranked 4430 p4p, 4702 weight class) and Lenard Larry (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Kim Tae Won Lumihi!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Lenard Larry!
The judges for this bout are Santiago Holmes, David Hoff and Dirk Anderson.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Lumihi takes the fight into the clinch.
The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch.
Larry tries to score a body lock takedown but Lumihi shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Lumihi is pressed up against the cage. Larry has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Lumihi down to the mat. Lumihi avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Larry tries to free his leg and advance position but Lumihi is retaining full guard.

Lumihi really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Larry cracks Lumihi with a solid left hand.

Lumihi will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Lumihi is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Larry is aware though and is defending well.

Larry drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Larry jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Larry passes easily into side control. Nice work.

Lumihi is working to avoid the ground and pound but Larry connects with a decent elbow.

Lumihi knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Larry on the ground.

Oh Lumihi is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Larry gets to mount! Lumihi was on the offensive and wasn't defending properly.

Oooooh, big shot lands for Larry! Lumihi is hurt baaadly! Larry is firing away with more strikes - Lumihi is covering up... the ref is warning him to do something. He's just covering up though still and the ref has to step in to end the fight! This one is all over!
