The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fogle looking to score a takedown here. Ling is defending well but Fogle drives through and ends up in Ling's guard.
Ling wriggles free and stands up.
Fogle closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Ling did well to prevent Fogle getting side control.

Ling is refusing to be controlled, as Fogle sits in half guard.
Fogle seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Ling is doing well to control the position and prevent Fogle from advancing to side control.
Fogle wants to advance to full mount but Ling doesn't think that's going to happen and regains full guard instead.
Ling working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Fogle doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Ling is tightening it up a little... Fogle has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Fogle reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Fogle taps out! Nice BJJ there by Ling!
