The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ekwall lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
It looks like Zeus Washington has been cut.
Washington waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Ekwall.
Ekwall lands a really nice looking cross but Washington seems unphased.
Ekwall slips a jab from Washington.
Ekwall has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.
Ekwall cracks Washington with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Washington looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Ekwall finish him?
Washington is rocked!

Ekwall dances in with a quick combination. Washington is being worked over with jabs and crosses. Oooh, a right straight from Ekwall snaps Washington's head back. Washington stumbles backwards against the cage. Ekwall steps forward and delivers a right cross that connects with Washington's jaw, simultaneously knocking him out and sending his mouthpiece into the crowd! There's a worthy souvenir for the fans. This one is over folks. Washington just didn't come prepared.
