Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Finest Guy (ranked 2820 p4p, 1535 weight class) and Raminus Polus (ranked 372 p4p, 220 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Finest Guy!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Raminus Polus!
The judges for this bout are Arvi Lind, Matti Vanhoillinen and Tarja Halkonen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Polus takes one to the side of the head.
Guy cracks Polus with a good jab.
It looks like Raminus Polus has been cut.
Guy throws an off balance right hand
and Polus counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Guy misses with a right hand
and Polus counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Guy throws a leg kick
and Polus counters into the clinch. Nicely done.
Polus is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Guy to keep the fight standing.
Guy is trying to push Polus away but Polus has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
Guy pulls guard successfully.
Polus sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Guy's guard.
Guy looking for submissions from an awkward position here.
Polus has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Polus with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
Guy has improved his flexibility recently so we will have to see if he can use that to his advantage.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Guy tries to control Polus's body but Polus pushes him off. Guy squirms to his side and now Polus has his back!
Guy is staying cool under pressure, defending well against the rear naked choke attempt from his opponent.
Guy is trying to roll into a better position but Polus has get a rear naked choke and Guy is forced to tap out! This one is allllll over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:52 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Raminus Polus!
