Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 11 - 8 - 0, fighting out of London, Bjj Catch Wrestler! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 8 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Nati Pisswater! The judges for this bout are David Schapiro, Anthony Taglia and Jorge Garcia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Catch Wrestler jabs at Pisswater's body. Pisswater defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Catch Wrestler. Catch Wrestler pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Catch Wrestler misses with a hook
and Pisswater counters with a thumping low kick. We've been hearing reports that Catch Wrestler has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight. Catch Wrestler throws an off balance right hand
enabling Pisswater to counter with a crisp jab. Pisswater throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Catch Wrestler stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Good exchange - Catch Wrestler coming out on top. Pisswater gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Catch Wrestler wants to control from the top but Pisswater keeps moving. Pisswater tries to land a sweep but no joy. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Catch Wrestler is pushing down on Pisswater's leg trying to pass to half guard. Pisswater is fighting to maintain full guard but Catch Wrestler has managed to sneak the leg through. Catch Wrestler looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Pisswater with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Catch Wrestler winds up and cracks Pisswater with a swinging punch to the side of the head. Catch Wrestler thows a huge punch but Pisswater dodges it nicely.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Pisswater wants to get back to his feet. Catch Wrestler frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Catch Wrestler has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Pisswater is desperately trying to improve his position but Catch Wrestler has a good base and remains in mount. Catch Wrestler landing shots from mount. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Pisswater blocking the ground and pound. Catch Wrestler is giving the impression that he's looking to ground and pound but he switches suddenly into a beautiful far side armbar! Pisswater is forced to tap! Great finish!
