Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Baby Yoda (ranked 3290 p4p, 4655 weight class) and Thulani Njeri (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Thulani Njeri!
The judges for this bout are Phil Schofield, William Gold and James Ackerman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A jab from Yoda finds it's way through Njeri's defenses.
Njeri ducks under a wild hook from Yoda.
Yoda throws a lazy uppercut
and Njeri counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Njeri.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Yoda cracks Njeri with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Njeri is still on wobbly legs! Can Yoda finish him?
Yoda circles away before darting back in with a big straight right hand. It connects beautifully and sends Njeri tumbling to the canvas! He's out cold! Yoda wins by KO!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:15 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Baby Yoda!
Baby Yoda tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
