Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rico Salvacion (ranked 24895 p4p, 5118 weight class) and Lord Vader (ranked 0 p4p, 159 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 4 - 7 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Rico Salvacion! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Lord Vader! The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, George Francis and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Vader ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Salvacion moves away. Vader misses with a jab, cross combination.
Vader scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!

Salvacion quickly followed up with a counter body kick but doesn't connect. Vader swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Vader throws a combination that misses and Salvacion counters with a left to the body. No luck with that takedown attempt from Salvacion. Vader throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Salvacion counters with a lovely shot to the body. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Vader swinging wildly here.
And Salvacion counters with a quick kick to the body but Vader blocks it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Vader throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Salvacion. Salvacion dodges the punch combination from Vader.
Vader looks winded! A punch combination from Vader misses. Vader lands a jab to the nose. Vader throws a wild combination but nothing lands. A combination from Vader does no damage. Sloppy strikes from Vader. Those never looked like landing. Salvacion shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Vader's guard. Salvacion is standing up over Vader. Vader looks to escape but Salvacion dives into side control.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Salvacion looks up at the clock and then as Vader takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Salvacion smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Vader wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done! Salvacion has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Salvacion in side control, just content to control the action for now. Salvacion wants to lay and pray for a moment but Vader keeps working. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Vader is looking to reverse the position. Vader is not content to let Salvacion control the position. Salvacion wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Vader, who protects the arm well.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Salvacion is looking to take a break and control but Vader is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Salvacion gets to mount! Vader was on the offensive and wasn't defending properly. Vader is trying to escape but when you're mounted that's not too easy.
Salvacion wants to control the pace but Vader is squirming around nicely. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Lord Vader dominated that round. The cut man is working on Rico Salvacion's cut. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. Vader slaps away a takedown attempt from Salvacion, before circling back to the center of the mat. Vader leaves Salvacion with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Salvacion on the wrong end of a nice jab. Vader throws a series of punches but Salvacion avoids them all with ease. Horrible takedown attempt by Salvacion or perhaps it was just good defense by Vader, which made it look bad. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Rico Salvacion. That's going to take a lot out of him. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Vader throws a series of strikes that have Salvacion backpedaling.
No joy there for Vader, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Vader throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Salvacion stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
That's one minute gone in the round. Vader drops Salvacion with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Salvacion looks back up at him and smiles so Vader waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Salvacion is rocked! Lord Vader seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Vader fakes the body blow, causing Salvacion to drop his hands! Left hook to the temple! Salvacion goes stiff, and falls face first into the mat. Goodnight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:11 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Lord Vader!
