Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bruno Salvacion (ranked 7215 p4p, 24695 weight class) and Poison Ivy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.

Ivy feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Salvacion shoots in looking for a takedown. Ivy tries to sprawl out of it but Salvacion keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Ivy manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Ivy decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Salvacion, up you get!
Ivy dives in and grabs Salvacion's left leg, looking for a takedown. Salvacion pushes down on Ivy's head and hops out.
Salvacion shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Ivy pinned against the cage. Ivy gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Ivy follows through with a counter body kick but it doesn't land.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Ivy tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Salvacion defends well and Ivy ends up having to push Salvacion into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

Ivy is scooting his butt against the cage and has managed to get back to his feet. Salvacion presses him back against the cage, presumably looking to take the fight back to the mat.

Salvacion is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Ivy can't fight it off and eventually Salvacion manages to take the fight to the floor. Ivy looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Ivy uses the cage to get back to his feet.

Salvacion gets caught napping as Ivy dives in and scores a takedown. Salvacion manages to retain guard.
Ivy has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Salvacion went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.

Well Ivy has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
