Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Noah Horan (ranked 4663 p4p, 4745 weight class) and Jozef De Vries (ranked 0 p4p, 536 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, James Ackerman and James Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Horan slips under a jab.
Horan was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
De Vries misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Horan.
De Vries walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
De Vries fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Horan manages to avoid it.
De Vries fails with the takedown
and Horan counters with a stiff right hand.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

De Vries throws a lazy right hand but Horan sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Horan lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.

De Vries takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
De Vries gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Horan counters with a right hand to the body.
Horan tests De Vries's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Nice shot lands for Horan.

Horan moves out of range as De Vries strikes.
De Vries tries for a takedown but Horan circles away easily
and Horan counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps De Vries thinking.
Noah Horan has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jozef De Vries.
De Vries avoids the body shot from Horan.
Horan looks to throw the jab but De Vries is out of range.
De Vries swings widly with a right hand
and Horan connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Horan moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.

Horan rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but De Vries moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
De Vries will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
A quick step to the side and Horan tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.
Horan throws a combination that misses
and De Vries counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Horan!
De Vries is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Horan looks calm but he's in trouble here. De Vries gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Horan is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! De Vries lets go of the hold and Horan can pop his arm back in it's socket.
