The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Oliveira rushes Reichert and presses him up against the cage.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Oliveira cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Oliveira wants to control the pace but Reichert is squirming around nicely.
Reichert knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Oliveira on the ground.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Oliveira scores with strikes from the back.
Oliveira thows a huge left but connects with the canvas and not his opponent.
Reichert covering up well under a series of strikes from Oliveira.
Oliveira just keeping the dominant position. He can't wait too long though, otherwise the referee will stand them back up.

Oliveira is persistently looking for the submission but Reichert is defending it well.

Reichert is trying escape back to his feet. He turns into his opponent's guard and eventually finds his way back to his feet.

and Reichert counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.

Oliveira wants to sweep but no luck.
Muriel Reichert overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Oliveira manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Reichert manages to get himself to full guard.
Oliveira would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

You can see the frustration on Reichert's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Oliveira remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.

Reichert has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Oliveira is really squeezing tight and eventually Reichert passes out! Oliveira breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
