Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Troy Garrison (ranked 2690 p4p, 5245 weight class) and Tooth Fairly (ranked 306 p4p, 530 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Troy Garrison !
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Tooth Fairly!
The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, James Glass and Richard Clark.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Garrison gets a double leg takedown into Fairly's guard.
Garrison postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Fairly is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Garrison , into his guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Garrison seems to have improved his submission grappling technique since last time we saw him. Let's see if he can pull off a submission.
Fairly really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Garrison . If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Garrison drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Garrison jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Fairly is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Garrison passes easily into side control. Nice work.
Fairly seems a little lost for a moment, as Garrison dominates the positioning.

Garrison is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Fairly is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

You can see the frustration on Fairly's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Fairly is looking to regain half guard here but Garrison keeps moving and retains side control.
Garrison is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Fairly looks calm but he's in trouble here. Garrison gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Fairly is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Garrison lets go of the hold and Fairly can pop his arm back in it's socket.

Troy Garrison was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
