Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hans Arne Georgsen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jimmy Snouka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Snouka is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: CURTIS MAYFIELD - SUPERFLY . I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
5 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Hans Arne Georgsen!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Jimmy Snouka!
The judges for this bout are Matheus Silva, Felipe Paraventi and Paulo Santos.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fight stays on the outside here - Georgsen looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Snouka keeps the fight on the outside.
Georgsen throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Snouka.
Danga de danga de dang - Georgsen scores with a four punch combination!
Georgsen connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Georgsen throws a right hand that Snouka ducks under and follows up with a left that Snouka also avoids with ease.
Georgsen fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Georgsen throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Snouka circles away from the clinch attempt.

Georgsen moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
Snouka swats away the attempt to clinch by Georgsen.

Georgsen throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Snouka.

No joy there for Georgsen, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Snouka lands with a straight right. Georgsen didn't see that one coming.
It looks like Hans Arne Georgsen has been cut.
Snouka drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Georgsen pushes Snouka away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Snouka gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.
Snouka working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
Snouka takes a little break here. Georgsen wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well.

Snouka trying to control the position but Georgsen is working away.
Georgsen is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Snouka has just dragged him back down to the mat.
Georgsen trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Georgsen fails to land with a series of punches.
Snouka has closed the distance and engaged Georgsen in a clinch.
Snouka blocks an elbow strike.
Georgsen wants to break the clinch but can't.
Snouka gets control of Georgsen's arms and successfully pulls guard. Snouka will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Georgsen wants to stand but Snouka has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
Snouka has his foot on Georgsen's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Georgsen works his way back into a safe position though.

Snouka is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Snouka has his hands on Georgsen's head, controlling the position.
Georgsen avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Georgsen is looking to stand up but Snouka won't let him.
Snouka is working an open guard so Georgsen takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.

Georgsen doesn't manage to clinch there - Snouka circles away.
Snouka slips a straight right by Georgsen.
Snouka feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Georgsen's calf.

Georgsen rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Snouka moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Snouka has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
It looks like Jimmy Snouka has been cut.
Georgsen is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Georgsen gets in close and instigates a clinch.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Georgsen trying to stall but Snouka improves his position.
Georgsen wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Georgsen misses with an elbow strike.
Snouka connects with a nasty looking knee right to Georgsen's face.
Snouka tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Georgsen's elbow.
Snouka's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Hans Arne Georgsen will probably get the nod.
Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

and Snouka counters by clinching up.
Snouka breaks the clinch.
Georgsen wants to clinch up but Snouka keeps it at a distance.
Nice defenses there by Snouka.

Georgsen has taken the fight to the clinch.
Georgsen can't break the clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Snouka looking to slow down the pace here.
Georgsen lands with a short shot to the head.
Georgsen on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Snouka is trying to maintain a safe position but Georgsen gets an underhook and turns Snouka into the cage.
Georgsen manages to break the clinch.
Georgsen falls off balance throwing a combination
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.

Snouka closes this distance looking for a takedown but Georgsen circles away.
Georgsen moves in looking to clinch but Snouka pushes him off.
Snouka takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Georgsen circles and sees the opportunity to plant his feet and throw a really nice straight left hand that drops Snouka to the canvas! Snouka doesn't know where he is but he's trying to survive - Georgsen keeps piling on the pressure and forces the referee to step in! This one is aaaaaall over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:21 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Hans Arne Georgsen!
