Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Noa Hon (ranked 5691 p4p, 5315 weight class) and Bjorn Cloudsen (ranked 626 p4p, 605 weight class). Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Noa Hon!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Bjorn Cloudsen!
The judges for this bout are Donatello Bradman, Ben Watson and Steve Erwin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Hon has managed to clinch.

Cloudsen tightens his grip and picks Hon up, before dumping him to the ground. Hon manages to land in guard.
Hon trying to control the position here.
Cloudsen tries to free his leg and advance position but Hon is retaining full guard.
Hon wants to sweep but no luck.
Hon wants to stand up but Cloudsen is controlling him.
Cloudsen wants to control from the top but Hon keeps moving.
Hon tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Hon wants to stand and escape but Cloudsen is having none of it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Cloudsen wants to pass the guard but Hon is keeping the position.

Cloudsen is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters, thinking about a standup.

Hon looking for a sweep. Not yet Hon, not yet.

Cloudsen drops back looking for a leg! Hon is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Hon manages to kick Cloudsen off! Cloudsen jumps back into Hon's guard.
Cloudsen wants to pass the guard but Hon is keeping the position.
Hon controls Cloudsen momentarily but Cloudsen frees himself.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Cloudsen tries to clinch but Hon moves away
and Hon counters with a straight right hand.
Cloudsen fails in his attempt to clinch.

Cloudsen fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Hon, pushing him back against the cage.
Cloudsen is struggling to control the position.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Cloudsen goes for a takedown in the clinch but Hon prevents it.

Hon breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Cloudsen fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.

Cloudsen rushes Hon and presses him up against the cage.
Hon is pushing Cloudsen up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.
Hon stops a takedown attempt from Cloudsen.
Cloudsen is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Hon is defending well.
Noa Hon has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bjorn Cloudsen.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Cloudsen jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Hon walks away with a smile on his face. Cloudsen gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Hon gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Cloudsen has been looking to improve his clinch game in recent weeks. Hon seems to have the measure of him in the clinch so far, so let's see if Cloudsen can turn it around.
Cloudsen goes for a takedown in the clinch but Hon prevents it.
Hon scores with a nice hook to the head.
Cloudsen is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.

Hon breaks from the clinch.
Cloudsen tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Hon throws a nice looking combination but Cloudsen bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Cloudsen shoots in for a takedown but Hon shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Cloudsen misses with a double jab.
Hon throws a combination. Cloudsen tries to block but a couple of punches get through.

It looks like Bjorn Cloudsen has been cut.
Hon looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Hon throws a right and a left that Cloudsen avoids nicely.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Hon swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Cloudsen looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Hon is fending him off so far but Cloudsen persists. Nope, Hon circles away and we're back to standing.
Hon misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Cloudsen fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Hon to the ground. Cloudsen is now in Hon's guard.

Hon uses the cage to get back to his feet.
Cloudsen has his takedown stuffed
and Hon counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Cloudsen looks winded!
Sloppy strikes from Hon. Those never looked like landing.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Noa Hon dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Bjorn Cloudsen's cut.
That's time! Back to the action!

Cloudsen loads up on a big right hand but Hon slips the punch.
Hon misses with a few strikes there.
Cloudsen throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Hon counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
Cloudsen misses with an attempted mid kick.
Hon misses with a two punch combination.
Cloudsen avoids a punch combination nicely.
Cloudsen fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Hon throws a series of strikes that have Cloudsen backpedaling.
Noa Hon is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Hon circles away from the clinch attempt.
As Cloudsen looks to move away, Hon throws a big counter combo but Cloudsen just gets out of the way.

Cloudsen clinches.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Hon scores with a shot to the side of Cloudsen's head.

Cloudsen gets a trip takedown into half guard.

Hon kicks off Cloudsen and gets to his feet.

Cloudsen closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Hon quickly recovers to half guard.
Hon is looking to escape.

Cloudsen is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Hon is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:35 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Bjorn Cloudsen!
After the fight, Bjorn Cloudsen was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
