Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Trey Dingo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marcio Melim (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 1, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Trey Dingo! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Marcio Melim! The judges for this bout are Leandro Rodrigues, Matheus Silva and Alexandre Firmino.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dingo throws a nice looking combination but Melim bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Melim shoots in for a double leg but Dingo sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Trey Dingo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Dingo throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. A jab from Dingo finds it's way through Melim's defenses.
It looks like Marcio Melim has been cut. Dingo missing with a left hand there. Melim was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Dingo rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Melim moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Dingo lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Melim circles away quickly and effectively. Dingo with a lazy takedown attempt and Melim counters with a nice double leg into guard. Dingo has his feet on Melim's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work. Dingo scores with a slapping inside leg kick. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Dingo throws a body kick that digs right into the meat. Melim looks gassed! Dingo tries for a takedown but Melim circles away easily and Melim counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
That's one minute gone in the round. Dingo is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Melim drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Dingo dives on top into guard. Dingo working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Dingo trying to stand up but can't free himself from Melim's guard. Melim is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Dingo wants to stand but Melim has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Dingo trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Melim escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Dingo gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Dingo trying to control but Melim is working from the bottom. Melim is looking for a triangle but Dingo pushes his legs off easily.
Dingo lands a couple of elbows. Melim has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Dingo can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Dingo has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Melim is proving hard to escape from. Dingo avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Dingo will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Melim is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Dingo trying to control but Melim is working from the bottom. Melim is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Dingo drops back looking for a leg! Melim is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Melim manages to kick Dingo off! Dingo jumps back into Melim's guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Melim working for a triangle but Dingo defends it easily.
Dingo is looking to stand up but Melim won't let him.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Melim has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Dingo can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Melim working for a triangle but Dingo defends it easily.

Melim wants to sweep here but Dingo controlling him for the moment. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Dingo is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Dingo gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Melim postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Dingo is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Melim, into his guard. Dingo landing some decent shots from guard. Dingo looking to pass the guard. Melim has an active guard here but Dingo has managed to pass into half guard.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Dingo tries to stand but can't do so whilst Melim controls his leg. Marcio Melim has got the better of the ground game so far.
That's one minute gone in the round. Dingo seems to be working for a kimura but Melim defends the submission attempt. Dingo wants to stand up but Melim has a hold of him and won't allow it. Melim looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Melim is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but Dingo pulls his head out easily. Melim looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Melim looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Melim blocking the ground and pound attempt from Dingo.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Dingo throws a body punch but Melim moves out of range. Melim shoots in and bounces Dingo off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Melim forces his way into half guard. Melim wants to work for an arm triangle but Dingo is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Dingo is in trouble now - Melim has advanced to mount! Melim is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Dingo has managed to escape the submission attempt.
Melim swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Dingo is now in Melim's guard. A big mistake from Melim there, giving up the dominant position! Melim escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Dingo gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Melim looking for a guillotine here but Dingo defends easily.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Marcio Melim showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Marcio Melim's cut. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!

Melim regains half guard. Melim looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Melim is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but Dingo pulls his head out easily. Melim looking for submissions off his back. Dingo working the head and body with strikes. Dingo thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Melim's head. Melim looking for submissions off his back.

The fighters are battling for position here. Melim manages to regain full guard. Nice work. Melim is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Dingo rolls with it to try and escape but Melim cranks on the arm and Dingo is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
