Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Fred Benjamin (ranked 4602 p4p, 4845 weight class) and Ezekiel Broomsdale (ranked 573 p4p, 590 weight class). Ezekiel Broomsdale is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Fred Benjamin! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Ezekiel Broomsdale! The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Frank Dennis and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Benjamin lands a nice looking body shot.
Horrible takedown attempt by Broomsdale or perhaps it was just good defense by Benjamin, which made it look bad. We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Broomsdale has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat. Broomsdale lands a nice looking body shot.
We've been told by Benjamin's head coaches at Kalashnikov ELITE MMA Gym that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight. Benjamin checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time. Benjamin lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
It looks like Ezekiel Broomsdale has been cut. Benjamin pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Benjamin misses with a series of wild punches.

so Broomsdale counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Broomsdale seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Broomsdale postures up.
Benjamin is wriggling around but Broomsdale manages to pass to half guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Benjamin looks like he's trying to stand up.
That's one minute gone in the round. Benjamin is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Benjamin is looking to escape. Benjamin knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Broomsdale on the ground. Broomsdale seems to be looking for submissions.
Broomsdale controlling the action here. Broomsdale is working for a kimura but Benjamin is defending it quite comfortably.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Broomsdale is pressing down on Benjamin's thigh, looking to free his foot. Benjamin is holding on for now. Broomsdale is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount! Broomsdale is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Benjamin is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Benjamin flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Broomsdale anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Benjamin and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Broomsdale slips an arm under Benjamin chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Broomsdale has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Broomsdale is squeezing on Benjamin like an anaconda would it's prey. Benjamin fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Ezekiel Broomsdale! Ezekiel Broomsdale gave a mention to Coconut Supplement Co. (10% Laundry) in his post fight interview. That will please them (and hopefully generate some sales). The defeated Fred Benjamin had this to say: 'C'mon man'.
