Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bruce Vanorden (ranked 355 p4p, 683 weight class) and Ovidio Kiran (ranked 56 p4p, 103 weight class). Vanorden comes to the cage accompanied by Unstoppable . Kiran has chosen Katmandu as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 14 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Bruce Vanorden!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Ovidio Kiran!
The judges for this bout are Phil Schofield, James Ackerman and Richard Clark.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kiran takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Vanorden lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
A punch lands to the side of Kiran 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Vanorden rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Kiran cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Kiran takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Kiran has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Vanorden finds it's way round the side to connect with Kiran's head.
Kiran uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Vanorden.

Vanorden gets a clinch.
Still in the clinch, Vanorden scores with a nice short uppercut.
Kiran prevents a body shot from Vanorden.
Vanorden slowing the pace effectively.
Vanorden definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Vanorden doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Kiran breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Vanorden forces Kiran back against the cage and clinches.
The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Vanorden takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.
A short right hand to the side of the head by Kiran.
A right hook to the body lands for Vanorden.
Kiran is looking to break free of the clinch but Vanorden has double underhooks.

Kiran escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
We've been informed that Kiran has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
Vanorden fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Kiran moves out of range as Vanorden strikes.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Kiran slips under a jab.
Vanorden connects with the punch.
Vanorden blocks a jab.
Vanorden fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Kiran throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
A looping hook to the body misses from Vanorden. Kiran does a little dance to reset his feet.
Kiran takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Vanorden looks to throw the jab but Kiran is out of range.
Vanorden throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Kiran sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Vanorden lands a jab to the nose.
Vanorden cracks Kiran with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
A lazy left from Kiran finds it's target.
It's a brutal combination of punches from Kiran! Vanorden is backing up but he can't get away as Kiran lands with one final shot to the jaw that drops Vanorden and ends the fight. Great knockout.
