Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tom Dirk (ranked 1980 p4p, 1939 weight class) and Seppo Sepi (ranked 51 p4p, 48 weight class). Tom Dirk has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dirk scores with a body shot.

Dirk has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Dirk throws a hook but Sepi blocks it.

Dirk feints and as Sepi raises his hands in defense, Dirk changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Sepi looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Sepi is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Sepi working for a triangle but Dirk defends it easily.
Dirk is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Sepi escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Dirk gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Sepi is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Dirk is aware though and is defending well.

Dirk might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Dirk sitting in guard doing not very much at all here. Sepi doesn't need a second invitation though! He's locked up a guillotine and he's squeezing tight! That is tiiiiiiiiight! Dirk paying the price for stalling here - he's pushing hard on the arm trying to free himself but it's no use! He's tapped! WOW, quick submission from Sepi - great work!
