The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Morris tries to clinch but Kroner moves out of range.
Morris throws a quick inside leg kick.
Kroner on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Morris. Morris obviously looking to wear him down.
Kroner shoots in but Morris avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Morris stuffs the takedown.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Kroner.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Bepo Kroner. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Kroner shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Morris as he jumps to the side.

Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Kroner closes this distance looking for a takedown but Morris circles away.
Morris cracks Kroner with a right hand to the side of the head.
A slapping leg kick lands for Morris.
Kroner with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Morris to score with a decent uppercut.
Kroner tries for a takedown but Morris sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Kroner is breathing heavily.

Kroner feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Morris not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Kroner postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
Kroner works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Morris looks like he's trying to stand up.

Kroner is looking for a kimura. It's pretty deep but Morris still has the half guard so he's probably OK. Oh, Morris has exploded into a beautiful escape there and after a quick scramble, he's ended up in side control on top! Nice work!

Kroner bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Morris's guard.
Kroner stands and throws Morris's legs to the side, diving into side control.

Kroner looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Morris with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Morris is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Kroner scores with a couple of nice shots.

It looks like Jones Morris has been cut.

Kroner is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Morris doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Kroner.

Kroner seems to be looking for submissions.
Kroner frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
