Coming up we have a heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Ari Baba (ranked 4228 p4p, 15808 weight class) and Scott Columbus (ranked 455 p4p, 645 weight class). Columbus has chosen Blood Of The Kings as his entrance music. Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 15 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Ari Baba! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 41 - 36 - 2, fighting out of Las Vegas, Scott Columbus! The judges for this bout are Columbo Gatti, Franklyn Lucas and Eddie Farnsworth.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Baba misses with a low kick as Columbus jumps back. Baba throws a nice looking combination but Columbus bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Columbus lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
It looks like Ari Baba has been cut. Baba lands a nice shot that snaps Columbus's head back.
Nice body punch from Baba. Columbus showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Baba.
Baba checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time. Baba really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Baba avoids a kick to the body.
Baba appears to be looking for a counter punch to the body. Baba feints and then cracks Columbus's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Columbus down. Baba misses the jab. Columbus swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Columbus has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Columbus there as he acknowledges the shot. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Baba uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Columbus. Columbus moves into range and lands a nice leg kick. Columbus goes for a spinning back kick but it misses. Columbus has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight. Baba swinging wildly here.

That's one minute gone in the round. Columbus lands with a nice body punch. Baba slips under a jab from Columbus. Columbus just misses with a punch to the body.

A lazy left from Columbus finds it's target. Baba works over Columbus's head and body with a nice combination.
It looks like Scott Columbus has been cut. Columbus dodges the punch combination from Baba.
Baba jabs Columbus right on the nose. Columbus blinks but takes it well. Columbus throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Baba sees it coming and avoids it easily. Baba bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut. Baba takes a swing at Columbus's ribcage but misses. Baba throws a right and a left that Columbus avoids nicely. This has been an exciting period of action! Baba throws a right hand that misses
and Columbus counters with a one-two to the body. Baba paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button. Baba is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches. Columbus throws a lazy head kick and Baba cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Baba tries to bum rush Columbus with a series of wild strikes but Columbus uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Columbus looks to land a right hand but Baba moved out of range. Baba lands a nice looking body shot.

Baba connects with a jab. Columbus with a body punch. A glancing blow. Columbus misses with a body kick. Baba jabs at Columbus's body. Baba slips a straight right by Columbus. Columbus is really struggling to land any decent head shots against his taller opponent. Baba paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button. Columbus throws a sloppy head kick and Baba moves out of range easily. The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end. Columbus misses with an uppercut. Columbus with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Baba to score with a decent uppercut. Columbus takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. Columbus tries to close the distance and clinch but Baba swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Columbus throws a head kick but Baba moves out of range.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Ari Baba dominated that round. Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the ring so we can get back down to business. Baba lands a nice shot to the body.
Columbus throws a jab but it's blocked by Baba. Baba appears to be looking for a big counter. Baba moves out of range of the strikes. Baba chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Columbus can pounce on him.
Columbus misses with an uppercut. Baba saw that one coming. Baba fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Columbus manages to avoid it. Columbus throws a hook but Baba blocks it. Columbus uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Baba. Columbus connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. Ari Baba is winning the standup battle so far. Good work by Columbus as he checks the leg kick. Baba slips under a jab. Baba throws a big shot that misses. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Baba throws an overhand right that lands on Columbus's shoulder, as Columbus tries to avoid the shot. The crowd cheers as Baba lands an impressive looking overhand right. Columbus doesn't seem phased though. A jab from Columbus finds it's way through Baba's defenses. Baba uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Columbus. Baba swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect. Columbus misses the shot to the body. Baba lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.

Columbus works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance. Baba waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Columbus. Baba steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Columbus. Columbus keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

Columbus shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. A decent looking cross lands there for Baba. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Baba tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him. A swing and a miss from Baba. Scott Columbus seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Decent striking displayed by Baba there. Columbus scores with a shot to the body.

Columbus lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh. A jab from Baba does it's job there. Baba has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Columbus finds it's way round the side to connect with Baba's head. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but Scott Columbus will probably get the nod - 10:9. Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round! Columbus dips to his left and cracks Baba with an uppercut! Baba swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Columbus. Baba has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Columbus finds it's way round the side to connect with Baba's head. Baba throws a body punch but Columbus moves out of range. Columbus cracks Baba with a perfect right hand that drops him to the mat! Baba is sitting up but I can't see if he's OK from my position. The referee's count has reached 5,6,7 and Baba is still not up. Can he make it? 8,9, he's up! Wow, he cut that one a bit fine! Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Baba thows a left - swing and a miss! Baba misses with a straight left. Nice cross by Columbus.
Baba is rocked! Baba throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Columbus flicks out a counter leg kick but Baba steps away. Oh Baba is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Baba throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Columbus fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. Baba seems to have got his legs back now. Baba defending well as Columbus loads up on a big left hand. Baba thinks about countering with a body kick. Baba walks straight into a perfectly timed right hook, crumpling him to the floor! Baba is in all kinds of trouble here - can he beat the count? 3,4,5,6,7,8,9....10 - he's out and it's by a long way too - he didn't ever look like beating that count!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:47 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punch). Scott Columbus! During a confident post fight interview, Scott Columbus thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
