Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

The judges for this bout are Sandra Marshall, Peter Branson and Michael Johnstone.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Decland fails with a takedown attempt.
Decland tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Decland throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
Thompson is trying hard to land a takedown here. Decland sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Decland fails in his attempt to clinch.
Thompson closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Decland quickly recovers to half guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
