Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Ricky Stuart (ranked 25121 p4p, 4480 weight class) and Dude Rude (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Ricky Stuart!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Josh West, Roger Salmon and Colin Fray.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rude is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Stuart changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Rude tries to avoid it but Stuart manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Rude to the ground. Rude escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Rude goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
Rude fails with an attempt to clinch.
Rude shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Stuart defends it nicely.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Rude throws a sloppy head kick and Stuart moves out of range easily.

Rude rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Stuart moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Rude throws a leg kick but Stuart sees it coming and checks it nicely.

Stuart wants to take the fight to the mat but Rude manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.

Stuart has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Rude is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Rude breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Horrible takedown attempt by Stuart or perhaps it was just good defense by Rude, which made it look bad.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Rude is continuing to stall.
Stuart wants to control but Rude is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Rude stands up out of the half guard.
Stuart is looking to chop away at Rude's legs.
Rude has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Stuart swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Rude throws a nice outside leg kick.
Rude moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
Rude throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Stuart tries a head kick but it misses.
Rude lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Stuart backs up against the cage.
Stuart is rocked!
Rude lands a huge takedown. Stuart is out but the ref is slow to react and Rude lands 3 more undefended punches before the fight is stopped. Brutal finish. Stuart lies on the canvas for a good minute before the doctors bring him round. Good to see he's OK.
