The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mars Jr is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Santos.
Santos walks into a straight right hand from Mars Jr.
It looks like Luis Santos has been cut.
Mars Jr looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Mars Jr dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Mars Jr bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Santos's head.
A telegraphed right hand from Mars Jr misses the target.
Mars Jr throws a shot from downtown. Santos moves away and avoids it.
Mars Jr misses with a looping left.
Santos steps in looking to counter with the mid kick but it doesn't connect.
Mars Jr walks forward and throws a big overhand right! Santos drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes! Mars Jr swarms on him with more punches until the referee wrestles him away from Santos's unconscious body! Wow, that was brutal!

After winning the bout, Mick Mars Jr thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
