Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Adam Shalashaska! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Richard Drake! The judges for this bout are David Hoff, Michael Johnstone and Santiago Holmes.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nice body punch from Drake. Shalashaska tries to close the distance and clinch but Drake swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. A head punch on the inside from Drake fails to land. Drake lands a nice shot to the body. Shalashaska tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

Shalashaska working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Drake doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Drake manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Drake is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Shalashaska has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Drake is looking to defend but Shalashaska has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Drake! Shalashaska pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Drake taps out and this one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:45 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Adam Shalashaska! Adam Shalashaska was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
