Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Daron Acemoglu (ranked 3966 p4p, 5702 weight class) and Mike Dyson (ranked 495 p4p, 0 weight class). Mike Dyson will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Mike Dyson!
The judges for this bout are Michael Johnstone, Santiago Holmes and Dirk Anderson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dyson turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Dyson shoots for a double leg takedown but Acemoglu sprawls well. He's pushed Dyson's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Dyson tries to close the distance and clinch but Acemoglu swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Acemoglu tries to counter with a takedown but Dyson is quick to defend against it.
A head kick misses from Dyson.
Excellent takedown into side control there by Acemoglu.
Acemoglu tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.

Acemoglu is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Dyson will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.
Acemoglu thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Acemoglu lands with some strikes.
Acemoglu is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Dyson to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Dyson shrugs it off.
Acemoglu looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.

Acemoglu with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
Acemoglu pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
