Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Draven Maxwell (ranked 3686 p4p, 2307 weight class) and Takeshi Yuudai (ranked 166 p4p, 117 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yuudai takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Maxwell lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Maxwell thuds his right hand into Yuudai's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Maxwell tests Yuudai's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Maxwell checks a leg kick nicely.
Maxwell dips to his left and cracks Yuudai with an uppercut!
Maxwell defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Yuudai.
Maxwell keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Yuudai.
Maxwell connects with a body shot.
Maxwell connects with a good right hand that stumbles Yuudai. Yuudai circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Yuudai throws a hook to the side of Maxwell's head but Maxwell sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Yuudai darts in looking for a takedown but Maxwell gets double underhooks and turns Yuudai into the cage.
Maxwell scores with a jab. Yuudai acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Yuudai's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Maxwell connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Yuudai scrambles back to his feet.
Maxwell looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Yuudai is looking to clinch but Maxwell is avoiding it.
Yuudai walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Maxwell checks the leg kick nicely there.

Yuudai shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Maxwell manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Yuudai slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
Yuudai throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
Yuudai looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.

Yuudai controls from within his opponent's guard.
Maxwell is looking to stand up but Yuudai isn't so interested in that idea.

Yuudai drops back looking for a leg! Maxwell is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Maxwell manages to kick Yuudai off! Yuudai jumps back into Maxwell's guard.

Yuudai drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Maxwell dives on top into guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Maxwell is posturing up here but Yuudai has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Maxwell tries to roll out but it's too tight and Maxwell has to tap! Slick submission there by Yuudai!
