Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Paddy Frost (ranked 4939 p4p, 5176 weight class) and Paul Greene (ranked 477 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Paul Greene!
The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, Donald Grub and William Gold.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Greene connects with a nice looking jab.
The fighters circling - Greene throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Frost drops down looking for a counter takedown but Greene sprawls and moves away.
Frost dodges the punch combination from Greene.
Greene misses with a wild combination.
Frost attempts a counter takedown but Greene avoids it well and moves away.
Greene throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Frost half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range.
Frost takes one on the chin but seems OK.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Greene misses with a left hand

and Frost counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Greene seems keen to control Frost's posture.

Greene is staying active underneath Frost, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

Frost seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Greene for as long as he can get away with.

Greene really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Frost. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Greene jabs Frost right on the nose. Frost blinks but takes it well.
Greene moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
Greene moves forwards but Frost connects with a nice, crisp jab.

Greene throws a nice looking combination but Frost bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Frost gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Paul Greene seems to be getting the better of the standup.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Frost is defended easily by Greene.

Greene ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Frost moves away.
Frost shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Despite the aggression on Greene's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.

Frost takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Paddy Frost is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
A looping hook to the body misses from Greene. Frost does a little dance to reset his feet.
Greene slaps away a takedown attempt from Frost, before circling back to the center of the mat.

Greene lands a jab to Frost's midsection.

and Frost counters with a nice uppercut.
The fighters circle momentarily. Greene darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Greene takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Greene lands with a shot to the body.

Frost tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Greene defends well and Frost ends up having to push Greene into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

Greene breaks the clinch.
Greene stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Frost fails with the takedown.
A jab from Greene does it's job there.
Paul Greene seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Greene lands with an uppercut that bounces Frost off the cage and back into range.

Greene lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Frost circles away quickly and effectively.
Nice sprawl there from Greene as Frost shoots in.
A nice side step and Greene releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.

Greene clobbers Frost with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Paul Greene is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Donk. Greene catches Frost right on the button with a cross.
Frost misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Paul Greene showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!

Frost throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Greene tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Frost is in Greene's guard.
Greene wants to sweep here but Frost controlling him for the moment.
Frost working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Paul Greene is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

Frost is looking to work some ground and pound but Greene has wrist control.
Greene managing to control the position.

Frost thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Frost stands up over Greene, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Greene wants to control but instead he gets his guard passed and Frost is now in half guard.
Paddy Frost overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Greene is staying active underneath Frost, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Greene tries to roll over but Frost keeps him under control.
Greene is refusing to be controlled, as Frost sits in half guard.

Frost passes the guard and advances to mount!
Greene wants to hold on but Frost pushes him away.
Frost trying to control but he's not successful this time.
Frost is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Greene can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Greene has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Greene tries to reverse the position but Frost maintains control.

Greene tries to lock up and control but Frost gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

Frost lands a couple of good shots and Greene has given up his back, trying to escape the position!
Paddy Frost has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

Greene takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
Frost is punishing Greene with strikes - can he finish him?!
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Paddy Frost.
I think Frost has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
