Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Joe Williams (ranked 4761 p4p, 4744 weight class) and Jake Love Jr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Joe Williams! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Jake Love Jr! The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, William Gold and Donald Grub.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A combination from Williams does no damage. Love Jr closes the distance looking to clinch and Love Jr takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
It looks like Jake Love Jr has been cut. Williams misses with a kick to the body and Love Jr counters with a single leg into guard. Williams didn't expect that. Williams working for a triangle but Love Jr defends it easily.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Love Jr trying to control but Williams is working from the bottom. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. The fighters are working up against the cage. Williams manages to wriggle his way back to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched against the cage. Williams manages to break the clinch.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Love Jr is defended easily by Williams.
That's one minute gone in the round. Love Jr fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Williams is out of range. An attempted straight right counter from Williams misses the target. A slapping body kick lands there for Williams. Williams tries a head kick but it misses.
Williams scores with a hook. Joe Williams seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Love Jr uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Williams. Love Jr closes the distance and clinches. Williams breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
A shot to the body from Love Jr misses and Williams cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Love Jr misses with a two punch combination.
Williams is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range. Williams will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Love Jr throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Williams keeps the fight on the outside. Williams tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Love Jr manages to circle out of the way. Danga de danga de dang - Williams scores with a four punch combination!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Williams connects with a looping right hand.
Love Jr is rocked! Williams fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Love Jr. Love Jr is still on wobbly legs! Can Williams finish him? A solid leg kick lands there for Williams.
Love Jr seems to have recovered his senses. Love Jr doesn't manage to clinch there - Williams circles away.
Oh, that's a big right hand from Williams and Love Jr goes tumbling to the canvas! Williams follows him to the ground and looks to finish from half guard. Williams decides to stand up. Love Jr looks winded! Nice body kick from Williams. A kick lands to the mid section there for Williams. Williams misses with the combination.
Williams is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches. Love Jr stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Williams.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Williams tries a head kick but it misses.
Williams scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Love Jr doesn't seem bothered though. Jab, jab by Williams - just one landing.
That has opened up Jake Love Jr's cut even more. Williams and Love Jr are patiently standing in front of each other looking for an opening. Williams throws a head kick. It's landed, knocking Love Jr into next week! Ooooh that was huge! Williams knows it - he's on the cage flexing is biceps. That's a bit weird considering he won by kick but whatever.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:19 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Joe Williams!
