Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jozef De Vries (ranked 5217 p4p, 3613 weight class) and Michael Fochi (ranked 597 p4p, 463 weight class). Jozef De Vries has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Jozef De Vries! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Michael Fochi! The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Robert Twigg and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Fochi closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. De Vries quickly recovers to half guard. Fochi seems to be looking for submissions.
Fochi wants to lay and pray for a moment but De Vries keeps working. De Vries moves into full guard.
Fochi drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and De Vries dives on top into guard.
De Vries will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Fochi has his foot on De Vries's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. De Vries works his way back into a safe position though. De Vries drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and De Vries jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Fochi is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. De Vries passes into half guard. Fochi is not content to let De Vries control the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. De Vries is trying to work for a kimura but Fochi is defending well.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Fochi wants to control but De Vries is keeping busy.
De Vries definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Fochi wants to improve his position but De Vries is controlling well.
De Vries seems to be looking for submissions.
De Vries passes into side control, despite Fochi's attempt to control the position.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Fochi struggling a bit here.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Fochi stops De Vries from passing to mount. De Vries is looking to take a break and control but Fochi is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Fochi wants to control but De Vries postures up. De Vries in side control, working for a kimura. He's got hold of an arm and he's torquing it... Fochi is tapping! That's the end of the fight!
