Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tarik Argentim (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gene Mir (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Argentim's entrance music is Jesus Chorou. A fine choice. Tarik Argentim has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mir shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Argentim but Argentim pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Mir shoots in looking for a takedown. Argentim tries to sprawl out of it but Mir keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Argentim manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Argentim is looking for a kimura. It's pretty deep but Mir still has the half guard so he's probably OK. Oh, Mir has exploded into a beautiful escape there and after a quick scramble, he's ended up in side control on top! Nice work!

Check out the look on Mir's face as he threw that strike - that's one determined fighter!
