Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Lenny Bruce (ranked 3109 p4p, 3106 weight class) and Konrad Krippa (ranked 403 p4p, 405 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Edson Gomes, Alexandre Firmino and Emerson Jorge.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Bruce drives through and clinches with Krippa against the cage.
Krippa is trying to break the clinch but Bruce is controlling him.

Bruce has Krippa pressed against the cage, preventing Krippa from circling away and getting back to striking at range.

Bruce is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Krippa fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Bruce checks it well.
The fight stays on the outside here - Krippa looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Krippa fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Bruce avoids it really well and circles away.

A telegraphed takedown attempt from Krippa is defended easily by Bruce.
As Krippa looks to move away, Bruce throws a big counter combo but Krippa just gets out of the way.
Lenny Bruce has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Konrad Krippa.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Bruce wants to land a leg kick but Krippa is out of range.

Krippa has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Bruce avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
The referee calls for Bruce to work.
Krippa is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Bruce is defending well.

Krippa escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Bruce gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Bruce is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Krippa can do to turn this around?

Bruce is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!

Horrible takedown attempt by Krippa or perhaps it was just good defense by Bruce, which made it look bad.

Bruce goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Krippa turns into him and now he's in Bruce's guard.

Bruce is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
Bruce stands up over Krippa, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.

Bruce has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Bruce's corner. There ya go! There ya go!

Krippa is looking for a triangle but Bruce pushes his legs off easily.
Bruce not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

Krippa is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Bruce defends well.

Bruce stands up and waves to Krippa to follow him.

Bruce bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Bruce wants to lay and pray for a moment but Krippa keeps working.
Bruce is chipping away with strikes.

Well Bruce has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
